Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah in Lebanon called the events of the U.S. Congress dangerous, adding: “Americans have touched Trump’s political threat to their country.”
“Seyed-Hassan Nasrollah” noted in a speech on Friday night: Despite the fact that American friends in the region tried to call the recent attacks by Trump supporters on Congress normal, this event still showed the truth of America’s alleged democracy.
International reactions to political turmoil in the U.S.
Hezbollah’s secretary general said, “The U.S. is used to creating such violence in other countries, but Trump has implemented it in the United States.”
He criticized the U.S. government’s actions in recent years, including the assassination of resistance commanders, martyrs Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
Nasrollah stated, “Trump is a raw example of American political and military arrogance.”
The Hezbollah secretary-general further addressed the devastating double explosion in the port of Beirut, saying the Lebanese must treat it as an internal and national case.
Nasrollah told the families of the victims and those whose homes were damaged in the blast that he promised representatives of the axis of resistance in Lebanon to follow up on the case.
The blast in Beirut occurred on Aug. 4, 2020, killing nearly 200 people and causing billions of dollars in damage.
Nasrollah also spoke about the West’s position on Lebanon, saying: If Lebanon was a bit important for the Americans and Europeans, they would not have boycotted it.
The secretary general of Lebanese Hezbollah concluded by rejecting claims that Hezbollah wanted to prevent the formation of a new cabinet in Lebanon.
