Iraq’s prime minister has met with the king of Jordan during an unannounced visit to the capital, Amman.
Mustafa al-Kazemi’s office said in a statement circulated Saturday evening that the Iraqi prime minister met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in the capital Amman during a brief working visit to Jordan.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of common interest, particularly the current economic challenges and ways to reduce the impact of the Corona epidemic on the economies of the two countries, the statement added.
The statement did not provide further details on the meeting between the Iraqi prime minister and the king of Jordan.
