The British government has pledged £16.4 million in humanitarian aid for the Ukraine conflict.

– British children have experienced the most catastrophic poverty rate over the last quarter century.- The child poverty rate plummeted to 28% in 2004–2005 and declined until 2013–2014.
– Nevertheless, it began to climb and eventually reached 31% in 2019–20.- The 2022 statistics on poverty reveal a pervasive pattern of destitution across the United Kingdom.
