Ankara- Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of Turkey, showed the first pilotless bus designed and manufactured in the country.
“The bus is 8 meters long and does not make any noise or sound. With the help of artificial intelligence, it reacts to pedestrians and traffic light signals. It is a source of pride for our country,” Erdogan, who took a test ride in the vehicle through the palace grounds, told reporters.
The Turkish president expressed confidence that Turkey will occupy a worthy position in the electric bus market and announced the early launch of mass production.
The vehicle has a capacity of 52 passengers and has a range of 300 kilometers.
