US troops continue to consolidate their influence in the areas they occupy in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, east of Syria.
Nothing has changed, indeed, with the Democratic administration led by Joe Biden. In this regard, more than 30 truckloads of logistical materials, various weapons and ammunition, as well as some oil equipment, have entered the camp (Conoco), which controls and uses as a base in the region.
According to local sources told Sputnik, the American occupation forces are working to train mercenary elements loyal to them in the area within the (Conoco) field, which is the largest gas field in Syria, producing 10 million cubic meters of natural gas, in order to recruit them to guard gas and oil installations in the region, which are occupied by the Americans and are used by its forces as military bases under their direct control, in order to facilitate their theft and the transfer of their production to Iraq on a daily basis.
Taking into account that winter in Syria has been particularly harsh this year, depriving Syrians of their own resources to warm themselves gives an idea of the crime committed, as pointed out here.
U.S. forces also use the “Conoco” camp as a detention center for members of Arab tribes in the region, who refuse their presence in the area. Another in one of their prisons is near the “Al Omar” oil field.
