A joint center to monitor compliance with the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh was opened today in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam region.

The center had been agreed in November, after weeks of bloody fighting between Azeris and Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh and some neighboring areas.

According to media reports, up to 60 Russian and as many Turkish servicemen will be present at the center.
