Russia has summoned the British ambassador to Moscow following Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s words about Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The British ambassador to Moscow was summoned today to the Russian Foreign Ministry protesting Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s “rude” remarks about President Vladimir Putin, Russian diplomacy said in a note. Russia “strongly” protested with Ambassador Deborah Bronnert against “the openly rude comments of the British authorities towards Russia, its leader, its officials, as well as the Russian people,” the statement specified.
