The Palestinian Authority ambassador in London stressed that the Zionist regime is acting above the law and its impunity should be stopped.
“The UK and the US are responsible for their full support of the Zionist regime,” Hussam Zamlat told the BBC. He said the British government must recognize Palestine – in practice, not in words – as an independent state to fix the problem it created after the Balfour Declaration.
The Palestinian Authority ambassador in London added: “What is Britain waiting for to recognize an independent Palestinian state? This one is our right and their long unfulfilled obligation.”
Zamlat also called for an immediate halt to arms sales to the Zionist regime, noting that arms deals with governments that violate human rights are illegal under British law.
The Palestinian ambassador further called on the London government not to import products manufactured in the occupied Palestinian territories and to support the Palestinian complaint to the International Criminal Court against the crimes of the Zionist regime.
