Russia’s deputy foreign minister announced that Russia is ready to consult with the U.S. on Syria.
The United States entered Syria in September 2014 under the pretext of fighting ISIS terrorists and, until now, continues its illegal presence there without having a specific role in destroying this group. The Damascus government has repeatedly called out the occupying U.S. in letters to the United Nations and the Security Council and protested the violation of their territorial integrity. According to the Young Journalists’ Club, “Mikhail Bogdanov,” Russia’s deputy foreign minister, announced Monday, “Moscow is ready to consult with the United States on Syria.” Bogdanov added, “There are probably contacts (with Washington) on the military line, and we are always ready for such contacts.” In the past 24 hours, the U.S. military has brought more than 100 vehicles carrying logistical equipment and weapons to Syrian oil field bases. At the same time, the United States continues to steal Syrian oil, taking out thousands of gallons of Syrian oil through illegal crossings. The largest U.S. bases are located near the Omar oil field, east of Deir Ezzor province. The Omar oil field is the largest oil field in Syria. In recent years, American invaders have attempted to steal Syria’s oil resources.
