A “perpetual lockdown is not the solution” to the pandemic crisis.
This was stated by the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, during a hearing in the House of Commons. Challenged by criticism from Labour leader Keir Starmer, Johnson replied that “when there’s a new variant there are no easy answers” and claimed to have enacted “some of the strictest restrictions in the world. The premier said he hopes to lay out “in the next few weeks” the “details of how to get out of the lockdown.”
