The Zionist media reported major cyber attacks against Israeli logistics companies.
After the Shirbit Insurance Company, the cyber attacks continue: The Orian Transport and Logistics Company confirmed this Sunday morning that it is one of 40 companies involved in shipping and importing to Israel that were damaged in an unprecedented cyber attack last weekend.
The Israeli newspaper Calcalist wrote that “a serious cyber attack took place last weekend on dozens of companies engaged in shipping and importing to Israel. Hackers managed to infiltrate the servers of dozens of companies and infiltrate Israel’s supply chain. The companies that have been attacked are large logistics companies and the disruption to their operations could result in damage to the supply of essential goods. The stolen information may also have strategic value to enemy states.
According to the Israeli newspaper, most of the attack was carried out from Amital, a company that develops software for logistics and forwarding companies. The thieves broke into Amital’s computers, stole its customer list and the customer’s login information, and from there they hacked into the customers themselves. Calcalist has learned that as many as 40 of Amital’s customers are affected by this attack and have had information stolen from them. Some of the victims are the largest companies in the Israeli economy in the field of logistics and imports, some of which are shareholders of Amital.
“Amital, a company that develops software for logistics companies (shipping, customs brokerage, etc.), is a supply chain through which other organizations can be hacked. It is important to note that this is a widespread attack, in which vulnerabilities have been identified in dozens of other organizations in the logistics field, some of which are not necessarily related to Amital. It is possible that the attack is being carried out by an entity with capabilities beyond the criminal realm, which could use information that has been disclosed by the systems of the attacked companies with the aim of damaging and disrupting the activities of those companies in the future,” said a Zionist expert.
The newspaper Yediot Aharonot also reported that hackers had targeted three companies active in the Covid-19 vaccine business in Israel. The Globes website also wrote that the cyber attack was carried out from a foreign country. In recent months, the rate of cyber attacks against Israeli organizations and businesses has increased. About a month ago, electricity was cut off in large areas in occupied Palestine, including in occupied Quds, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashdod, Orakifa, Netanya, Rahofout and some Zionist settlements near the Gaza Strip. The Zionist regime said that the power cut was due to a cyber attack.
Recently, a cyber attack against the Zionist insurance company “Shirbit” disclosed the personal information of thousands of Zionists, including some high officials of the occupying regime Qods. (JP)
