Israeli Minister acknowledges his secret trips to Arab countries
The Israeli minister of military affairs acknowledged that he has secretly traveled to all Arab countries during military missions.
In an interview with the Saudi newspaper Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, Benny Gantz said that, during the 38 years of his presence in the Israeli army, he has made secret trips to Arab countries, but now he wants to do so officially and publicly.
With hands stained with the blood of thousands of Palestinians and Muslims from other countries, Gantz called on Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), to join the peace process by stating that without a complete solution to the Palestinian question, there will be no comprehensive peace in West Asia.
The Israeli headline argued that the process of relations with the Arab countries represents a great and real opportunity for peace.
These comments come while for years Tel Aviv has been repressing and detaining the Palestinians and building Zionist settlements to alter the geographical structure of the Palestinian areas to give them a Zionist image in order to consolidate their hegemony over these regions. (IN)
