More than one observer was eagerly awaiting the speech of Hezbollah’s Secretary General on Friday, at the end of four years of merciless war by the United States of Trump against the Lebanese Resistance, with the strict objective of eliminating Hezbollah’s arsenal and securing the northern front.
A multifaceted war which, in addition to the political aspect based essentially on the “blame game” of Hezbollah in Europe but also by the most cornered states in the world, has hit Hezbollah’s economy by hundreds of people or sanctioned bodies. However, none of these actions succeeded in bringing Hezbollah to heel, so much so that on 4 August the US-Israel axis decided to strike all of Lebanon.
In his speech of Friday, January 8, Nasrallah returned to this point, demanding that light be shed on the sponsors and perpetrators of the double explosion of August 4, which led to an attempted military occupation of Lebanon by NATO, protectionist of the country, but which again met with fierce resistance from Hezbollah. “At least since 2005, if you’ve been hearing about Lebanon in geopolitical terms, it’s because Lebanon has Hezbollah and Hezbollah has weapons,” Nasrallah said Friday night. On Friday, January 8, Hezbollah’s Secretary General could not fail to recall the events on Capitol Hill, the “false flag” of the deep state, a trumped-up coup d’état, no matter how the incident is interpreted, neither the witch Dorothy Shea nor her Lebanese friends can now give lessons in democracy to Lebanon, its president and the Resistance.
“What happened in America is a very important issue and its repercussions are great. This event cannot be taken lightly. It was a blow that the United States sought to provoke in Lebanon and elsewhere in the Middle East but could not. The Americans have seen the results of Trump’s policy and his willingness to kill Americans to stay in power. What the Americans have seen is a specimen of Trump’s policies around the world over four years, such as in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and the assassination of the two commanders Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes. It is a model of US arrogance that has long imposed its domination over peoples. What the Americans have seen reveals the true falsified democracy in the US and the danger of allowing a madman like Trump to become president. Let us pray to God that “the next few days will pass without major incident for humanity… God the Almighty protected the whole world for four years because the nuclear button was controlled by a despotic and crazy man,” said Nasrallah.
But last night, Hezbollah Secretary General Nasrallah’s comment on what remains by far the collapse of the US democracy myth could not go without a direct reference to the August 4 double blast in Beirut, where Israel continues to be the main suspect. Nasrallah wants the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth to be known, even as tensions are at their peak between the US-Israel axis and the Resistance. This truth will, moreover, open the doors to a Lebanese anti-Israeli retaliation that has every reason to be “state-sponsored”, as Nasrallah has already pointed out, if Israeli involvement is proven. Thus, further on in his remarks, the Secretary General of Hezbollah referred on January 8 to the incident of August 4, some of the incongruities of which were recently revealed by the acting Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diab.
Nasrallah described the publication of the results of the investigation as “a national cause that concerns all of Lebanon” and that can in no way be transformed into a communal, political or sectarian affair. “The martyrs of this tragedy were from all faiths and regions. And from the destruction of the port, the whole Lebanese economy suffers. Let’s avoid confessionalizing this affair. I pledge, on behalf of Hezbollah, to work for a just and honest outcome to this issue, for two major reasons: the first is human, given the large number of martyrs and injured that the incident has caused, and the second is because this case has been widely exploited politically, whether against Hezbollah or against President Michel Aoun and the Free Patriotic Movement, an ally of Hezbollah”.
“The Israelis have promised surprise weapons to Iran…weapons to the EMP,” the paper said. But in wanting to bulge the torso in this way, the Zionist entity dropped the mask. And it is not Nasrallah who would miss such an opportunity: a few days ago, the acting PM Hassan Diab made a first shock revelation about the real quantity of ammonium nitrate that was in depot 2 of the port on August 4 and which the FBI, having forcibly infiltrated the investigation, has also confirmed: 500 tons instead of the 3700 tons previously announced.
This quantity could not cause the devastation of two thirds of a port as large as Beirut. Will other revelations follow? Nasrallah’s emphasis on the word “attack” says a lot. After all, it was Trump who first alluded to “a terrible attack on the port of Beirut”. But better than the truth about August 4, it is the natural consequences that will be drawn from it: a US-Israeli electromagnetic pulse bomb would have provoked the catastrophe so that Lebanon could attack Hezbollah, disarming it as it did Syria in 2005? The withdrawal of the Syrian army from South Lebanon has turned the Lebanese sky into a rear base for Zionist air strikes against its neighbors. The semi-atomic explosion in Beirut should have done the same with Hezbollah. It failed, but the case is far from being closed. Can an Israel that has carried out such a terrifying act of war against Lebanon remain safe from a Lebanese state military response? Can it be treated as a partner in a maritime dialogue, even indirectly? Nasrallah implicitly asked these questions, warning a Zionist entity totally drained of blood by what is happening in Washington… an entity that is in a state of historical fragility that makes it a target of choice….
