Israel: Abu Kamal’s surprise?

VIEWS

Until 2018, when it was liberated from the hands of Daech-USA by the Syrian Army and the Iraqi Resistance, the strategic crossing point of Abu Kamal was the main transit route for Daech terrorists fleeing Syria on US helicopters to Al Abar to support the GIs.

That during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, January 12, the Israeli F-16s, so terribly limited on the Syrian southern front by a Syrian-Lebanese border totally barricaded by batteries of anti-missile missiles made in Iran, Khordad-3 among others, came in, at the instigation of the US, to strike the positions of the Syrian army and its allies of the Resistance at Abu Kamal and al-Mayadin, high places of the Resistance, at the risk of shriveling in the Jordanian-Iraqi skies, this means that the US-Israeli axis is in fine fettle.

Over the past three days, with the bloody “shit power” that is about to take place in Washington, this axis has been engaged in a series of crazy measures that the Western media have falsely described as Trump’s attempts to compromise any possible Biden/Iran deal, but which on closer inspection are nothing but lamentable leaks forward aimed at unblocking a now irreversible state: the total siege of Israel : In Iraq, the main communication arteries of the Pentagon through which, not so long ago, arms and terrorists transited from Syria, Kuwait and Jordan to Al-Anbar (western Iraq) to weaken the Iraqi Resistance, and attempt to “unlock” the Abu Kamal/Qaem crossing point for terrorist infiltration purposes, are de facto cut off, with US military convoys no longer having any chance of crossing Nasseriyah, Diwaniyah, … without “incident.

In Deir ez-Zor, where the US attempted this week to fortify its base and oil-smuggling facilities in al Omar, anti-U.S. attacks have escalated to such an extent that the CentCom has decided to exhaust its reserves in Daech in Hassake and to inject a good dose of terrorists into al-Tanf and al Omar, in order to protect itself from the growing attacks. Two days ago the Centcom even made the mistake of liquidating the chief of al Omar’s main tribe, believing it could reverse the trend. But it’s hopeless: Eastern Syria is now a totally open front against Israel and it wouldn’t be the junk air raids that would change anything.

Tuesday evening at 1.10 am local time, while the Israeli F-16s had the mission to “dismantle from the air” the camps of the Syrian army and the “Odds Force” in Abu Kamal and Al Mayadin, they were faced with a first major pitfall, the capabilities of Syrian anti-aircraft that Israel has tried since December 202 to destroy via its raids on Damascus, Homs and even Masyaf without success. The F-16s did not know whether or not they would be subjected to anti-missile missiles. They therefore avoided firing from the sky of Al Tanf, which the CentCom says it protects via its air fleet. And yet, according to the latest information, the “radars deployed” in eastern Syria locked on to Israeli aircraft, and the raid literally missed its objective. Now Tel Aviv, just as the US is clear about it, has an Air Defense in eastern Syria.

The showcase of MI6, OSDH speaks of more than “18 raids extending from Deir ez Zor to Abu Kamal” but does not dare to say that they targeted the desert regions of Badiaa, for lack of having been able to locate “real targets”. Evidently there was a desperate attempt to counter the accelerated anti-Daech sweep operations of the Syrian army and its allies in Homs, to intimidate the Iraqi Resistance which literally knocked out the US/Israel axis on the Iraq/Syria border, a timid demonstration of anti-Russian force since the skies over eastern and central Syria are the scene of consecutive raids by the Russian army. But all this weighs nothing when we know that in the east of Syria, the US/Israel axis sought after its attempts of 2019 and 2020 to make the big blow but failed. Al Alam has just announced that “the strike against the Syrian-Iraqi border has not caused any Iranian, Syrian, or Iraqi victims”. Sign that the anti-US/anti-Israel side is far from being surprised, especially when it comes to Abu Kamal, the strategic heart. After all, the “hidden underground cities” that would preserve “tens or even hundreds of tactical and precision missiles” which would obviously be used to strike Israel, are well protected and it will not be the F-16s that could destroy them.

The OSDH did not comment on it, but the raid was very clearly called by SANA as an “Israeli aggression”, which means that the Syrian state and its allies in the Resistance reserve the right to retaliate, as the Syrian ambassador to the UN, Bashar Jafar, stated last night. The ultimate provocation aimed at triggering a retaliation by the Resistance a week before the departure of Trump-Pompeo and at a time when the most pro-Zionist regime in the history of the United States has just blacklisted the Hashd, Ansarallah and accused Iran of links with Al Qaeda is symptomatic: the siege of the Zionist entity is complete. Small detail, US drones and planes did not dare to take direct part in the attack, obviously afraid of having to suffer the consequences in Iraq. One piece of information that has just come to light is the CentCom’s decision to erect a new base in Jordan. Some would say that this would be where the United States would redeploy the GI5s that had been kicked out of Iraq. If Israel has done so, it is because it has now entered into a logic of Kamikaze?
