Russian energy company Gazprom and Belarusian subsidiary Transgaz Belarus have extended contracts for the supply and transportation of Russian gas to the former Soviet republic for 2022.
The cost of services for transporting natural gas through the territory of Belarus in 2022 will be about $250 million, while the estimated price of gas supplied totals $2.44 billion, or $128.52 per thousand cubic meters. During this year Gazprom expects to deliver just over 19 billion cubic meters of gas to Belarus, down from 20.6 billion sent in 2021, according to preliminary estimates.
