According to Economic Times, General Soleimani was the brave face of armed resistance against ISIS in Iraq and Syria and contributed significantly in defeating ISIS. Saudi-backed terrorists in fact celebrated when the US imbecile ex-president Donald Trump decided to martyr Gen. Soleimani. ISIS was gifted by Trump the spectacle of their chief nemesis being assassinated by the American drones.
Economic Times praises Gen. Soleimani by saying that Iran and India were among regional powers that backed anti-Al Qaeda forces along with Russia before Taliban was ousted in Afghanistan and Soleimani played a colossal role in defeating radical movements in Afghanistan.
Elsewhere, Philip Kowalski, the Author of OZY.com, Gen. Soleimani had been an indispensable figure in the fight against the Taliban and ISIS. Kowalski adds that Soleimani’s political ability and military acumen led many commentators to brand him the most skilled officer operating in the Middle East.
Dr. Arshin Adib-Moghaddam, a world politics professor at SOAS University of London, believes that the late Gen. Soleimani created “a resistance axis that could translate into versatile military and political action whenever necessary.” Soleimani could simultaneously fight Israeli forces in Lebanon, to the detriment of Washington, through Hezbollah while conducting operations against the Taliban in Afghanistan. Adib-Moghaddam says it was Iran, and not Americans as they try to show that “dealt the decisive blows to ISIS terrorits.” And Soleimani was the mastermind behind it. “The killing of Soleimani made the world that much more dangerous to live in,” says Adib-Moghaddam, “and this insecurity is the real bond that binds common Iranians and Americans together and which should mobilize them as a part of a global movement against war.”
The criminal clique in the White House wrongly assumed that by assassinating Gen. Soleimani they can preclude Iran from supporting the Axis of Resistance. But to their detriment, not only the Axis of Resistance continued its holy struggle against the arrogant powers but grew mightier. Today, millions of Iranians have sworn vengeance for the martyrdom of Gen Soleimani which puts US occupiers in Iraq and the Persian Gulf squarely in the firing line. In Colclusion one can say that Qassem Soleimani’s assassination have united Iranians against American imperialism.
