“Our Governments have signed a Declaration of Intent on bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

Added to this is the Eni-Sonatrach agreement to increase gas exports to Italy. A central step to reduce dependence on Moscow”. So Draghi, after the meeting with Algerian President Tebboune in Algiers: “Italy is ready to work with Algeria to develop renewable energy and green hydrogen. We want to accelerate the energy transition and create opportunities for development and employment”.
