Ansarullah: There will be no negotiations if attacks on Yemen continue

The chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee in Yemen said that there will be no negotiations if the attacks by the Saudi-led war coalition on Yemen continue.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi the chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee in Yemen, wrote on his Twitter page on Monday that the Saudi Arabia-led coalition of attackers continued their attacks on the one hand and claimed to be ready for negotiations on the other. He added that they (the coalition of attackers) apparently wanted negotiations just for the sake of negotiations, but at the same time continued the attacks and the blockade.

The Arab regimes allied with the U.S. to kill the Yemenis, it followed that the U.S. humiliated the governments of its Arab allies and forced them to normalize relations with the Israeli regime, al-Houthi wrote in another tweet.

He added that the result of such actions was the killing of Yemenis, the normalization of relations with the Israelis, the siege of Yemen and trade between the Arabs and the Israeli regime.

Under pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump to normalize relations between the Arab regimes and the Zionist regime, the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco have officially agreed with the Israeli regime to fully normalize diplomatic relations.

Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, UAE, and several other countries, has launched a military invasion of Yemen and a land, sea and air blockade of that country since March 2015, which has yielded nothing except the destruction of the country and the killing of thousands of Yemeni civilians.

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) warns that at least 5 million Yemenis will be one step away from famine by 2021. It said 2021 will bring more dilemma and hunger for Yemen than ever before.

The FAO statement said that saving Yemen would require immediate international assistance.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had warned back in November that Yemen was facing the worst famine the world had seen in decades. (PN)
