A senior member of Ansarullah’s High Political Council called on the representatives of the United Nations Security Council to travel to Yemen to investigate the catastrophic situation caused by the Saudi coalition attacks.
According to Al-Masira TV, “Mohammad Ali Al-Houthi,” a member of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, on Saturday on his Twitter page called on the Security Council representatives to travel to his country to see more closely the catastrophic situation in Yemen and the humanitarian crisis in the country. Al-Houthi stressed in the tweet that the situation in Yemen has reached a situation that can be called “the greatest human catastrophe.” “We call on the representatives of the Council of Europe to assume their human responsibility to combat the hunger, siege and sanctions of the Yemeni people,” Ansarullah said. Yemeni women’s and children’s rights organization Intesaf recently announced that 13,088 children and women have been killed and injured in Saudi coalition attacks in the country. The human rights organization pointed out that since March 2015, more than 3,ooo children and 2,400 women have lost their lives in the Saudi coalition bombardment in Yemen.
